88 ladies took part in this year's golf tournament of Dr Irena Eris Ladies' Golf Cup Women's Championship of Poland, which were held on the golf course Mazury Golf & Country Club in podolsztynskie Naterki. The favourites did not fail and the competition for the first place in the contest was very equal. However, the winner could be only one – Martyna Mierzwa, a 20-year old contestant got a gold medal of the International Women's Golf Championship of Poland. The second place was taken by a Czech lady Dominika Czudkova, and the third one by Katarzyna Selwent.

Dr Irena Eris Ladies’ Golf Cup is the tournament that has been played since 2007. This year's edition was really exceptional as it was joined with the national championship. Ladies golf players who own HCP 36,0, or lower, competed for the title of the International Champion of Women of Poland. Additionally, the best Polish tournament contestant, the best Polish junior and the national champions in categories: 19-34, mid amateurs and seniors were chosen. Numerous competitions were held on the golf court as well, particularly the Longest Drive and Nearest to the Pin. One of them, however, arouse most excitement – Maurice Lacroix Nearest to the Pin, which took place straight after the tournament.

The tournament was very hard because of unfavourable weather conditions which caused difficulties to the golf players and made problems to umpires as they had to make decisions several times whether to stop the game or not. Ech stopping of the game involved changes in the schedule and there was a risk of not running the competition in the fixed time. Neverheless, it turns out that ''the worse the weather, the better I play. In spite of the terrible weather conditions, I succeeded in gaining advantage over the contestants that although I was tired on the third day of the competitions, I was still the leader'', said Martyna Mierzwa, a three-fold winner of the Women's Championship of Poland (2008, 2009, 2010). It was not Martyna's first victory in Dr Irena Eris Ladies’ Golf Cup, either. The Contestant won, among others, in Naterki in 2009. Along with her victory, Martyna Mierzwa was handed an invitation by one of the Deutsche Bank's tournament sponsors to go to the tournament to Boston.
