In the May (05/2011) edition of the American monthly magazine Cosmetics and Toiletries appeared the publication of the research results concerning the effectiveness of the activity of Pharamaceris C products which are aimed at cellulite problem skin care.

Although cellulite is not regarded as a health problem by dermatologists, it makes up a significant cosmetic problem for many women all over the world irrespective of their age or body weight. Therefore, there is a need of a proper therapy as well as of standardizing methods of cellulite skin analysis. In the presented research paper an ultrasound scan was used owing to which it was possible to prove that using body care products can model such parameters of the skin as the hypodermic fatty tissue thickness.

The article in Cosmetics and Toiletries is another publication touching upon innovative research with the use of the ultrasound, which was led in the Dr Irena Eris Centre for Science and Research under the patronage of the Polish Ultrasound Association. The research were already presented at the following congresses: European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology (EADV) in Berlin in 2009 and European Society for Dermatological Research (ESDR) in Helsinki in 2010 as well as in scientific magazines: Polish Journal of Cosmetology nr 11(2008), Ultrasonografia nr 44 (2011).
